It introduces deterministic peer-resolution for cyclic dependencies, reducing memory use by ~25% and speeding up resolution 2–3×, while hard-linking packages first on Linux improves install speed. Additionally, unknown workspace settings now trigger errors or warnings based on version pins, and engineStrict enforcement now applies to the entire dependency chain.
