A Polish developer built an app that detects nearby Meta smart glasses over Bluetooth

Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski released the free iPhone app Zuckoff, which scans Bluetooth advertisements and matches them to a fingerprint database he built from purchased Meta smart glasses. It estimates the glasses’ distance, serves roughly 5,000 monthly users, and offers background alerts in a paid tier, providing a legal, low-cost way for bystanders to detect nearby recording glasses, though it cannot confirm active recording or identify the wearer.
