Qualcomm launches AI earbud chip, glasses platforms and a health alliance

Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2 audio chip, offering up to twice the AI performance of the Snapdragon S7 Gen 1, a 30% smaller footprint, and 40% lower power use, with built-in Wi-Fi 6E for cloud connectivity. It also introduced first-person AI platforms for 1-bit glasses models, a START program to accelerate glass development, and a Personal AI Health Alliance with over 30 partners to detect real-time health events on wearables.
