Rabbit’s new AI agent doesn’t need an R1 to run
Rabbit launches OS3, a cloud-based agentic operating system that runs locally on Windows, macOS, and Linux without requiring its R1 hardware. Users can link up to five devices and select preferred AI models; OS3 automatically identifies needed devices, files, apps, and models to complete tasks. The system is accessible via a desktop site, messaging apps such as Telegram or iMessage, and the R1 device.
