Rare, working Apple I computer heads to auction

The “Hatfield” Apple I, a still-working unit signed by Steve Wozniak, will auction at Bonhams this fall with an expected price of $500,000–$800,000. The machine, one of fewer than 75 surviving Apple I computers, also comes with a letter signed by Steve Jobs. The auction tour will visit Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, and New York before the October sale.
