Reports: RFK Jr. ordered measles deaths deletion; CDC still secretly counts them

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., serving as health secretary, ordered CDC director Erica Schwartz to remove two measles-related deaths—a newborn and a child—from the agency’s public data, despite staff having verified the cases. The deletions occurred on August 30 after the deaths were initially posted, and the Pennsylvania outbreak has now infected 540 people, including 119 in the past week.
