Roblox will soon add offline and browser-based play modes

Roblox will introduce browser-based play by the end of 2026, initially limited to Chrome, letting users launch games directly from an Experience Details page without downloading. In mid-2027 the platform will add offline solo play, with early access rolling out soon, and will enable creators to publish standalone apps for mobile, PC and consoles.
