Rockstar had a mole in the union worker discord server

Rockstar terminated 34 UK developers in October 2025 for “gross misconduct,” citing risk of leaking confidential data via a union-organised Discord server. Court filings show a junior employee supplied HR director Charlie Kinloch with screenshots, recordings, and membership data from February 2024 to October 2025. Rockstar obtained server logins on 13-16 October to download channel contents. The union claims the server was invite-only and verified through Rockstar’s Slack, while Rockstar’s lawyers reference three whistleblowers who reported security concerns and a “mole” leaking information for over two and a half years.
