Is Russia's rival to Starlink failing? Here's what we know.

Russia’s Rassvet program, aimed at a Starlink-style network, launched 32 satellites in March and July, about 10% of the roughly 300 planned for next year. None of the satellites reached their intended 500-mile orbit; they were released too low and must use onboard plasma engines to raise altitude. Bureau 1440 plans to deploy 924 satellites by 2035.
