Sam Altman calls himself a mega Apple fanboy and says the lawsuit made him sad

Sam Altman told journalist Alex Heath he was “very sad” about Apple’s trade-secrets lawsuit against OpenAI and called the allegations “egregious,” saying the company does not seek anyone’s intellectual property. Apple sued in July, accusing former employees Chang Liu and Tang Tan of taking confidential prototype information, asking current staff about unreleased products, and seeking a preliminary injunction in a 40-page complaint. OpenAI has moved to dismiss the case, arguing the complaint fails to state a claim.
