Samsung's wild new Odyssey lineup includes a 1,100Hz gaming monitor

Samsung introduced four Odyssey monitors: the 27-inch G6 uses an IPS panel with a 1,100 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response, 1080p output (600 Hz at 1440p) and ships H2 2026; the 32-inch OLED G8 supports 4K @ 360 Hz, 1440p @ 520 Hz, 1080p @ 680 Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync; the 49-inch OLED G9 offers 360 Hz at DQHD (5120 × 1440) and 720 Hz in Dual-HD mode, using a QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel and 1,300 nit peak brightness; the 42-inch curved OLED G7 provides 165 Hz, 1000R curvature and up to 4K resolution.
