Scammers target hundreds of thousands of crypto owners after Trezor confirms data breach of email provider

Trezor disclosed that hackers breached Brevo, the marketing service it uses for newsletters, and sent about 347,000 phishing emails to its customers containing a malicious link that installs an app requesting the wallet backup password. The breach compromised 138 Brevo accounts due to improperly scoped access, but Trezor’s hardware, wallets and account system remain unaffected.
