SciFin secured a $44 million seed round co-led by Altimeter and Madrona to unify fragmented revenue data for business teams. The FBI opened an investigation into Nexus, a dark-web service selling digital scans of more than 153 million U.S. and Canadian driver’s licenses. Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5.1 and Claude Mythos 5.1, and OpenAI announced an upcoming limited-access release of its Astra model.
