SDCC – Small Device C Compiler

SDCC is a retargetable ANSI C compiler for microcontrollers, including Intel MCS-51, Maxim DS80C390, Freescale HC08/S08, Zilog Z80, Padauk, STM8, MOS 6502, WDC 65C02, Rabbit, and PIC. Version 4.6.0 (22 June 2026) adds new targets, updated docs, and binary packages for Linux, Windows, and macOS. NGI0 Commons Fund support will expand Padauk, Rabbit, and Toshiba TLCS hardware support and add ISO C compliance, memory-usage optimizations, and link-time optimization.
