A self hosted AI software factory

The author created an autonomous, self-hosted AI pipeline that turns a single prompt into a full repository, writes code and tests, runs CI, provisions PostgreSQL, and deploys the app with HTTPS on a home server using Coolify, Tailscale, and DNS-01-validated Let’s Encrypt certificates. The LLM runs on a dedicated 2021 i7 machine, traffic exits through an older i3 server, and the only recurring expense is a £20 monthly Codex subscription.
