Sequoia-incubated Empirik launches with $21M to predict outages before they happen
Empirik, founded by former Sequoia CIO Avon Puri and IT leader Sudheer Dhurjati, uses AI to track system changes and predict outage ripple effects, acting as an autonomous “traffic cop” that permits low-risk updates and flags dangerous ones for review. The startup raised $21 million in seed funding and already serves customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 firms such as Guardant Health and a major CPG company.
