Show HN: Bolnee-Chat – Self Hosted Chatbot Integration in Your Business Website

Bolnee-Chat is a self-hosted RAG chatbot that builds a searchable knowledge base from website URLs or uploaded PDFs and works with any OpenAI-compatible LLM provider (e.g., OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama). It stores data in SQLite, encrypts provider keys with AES-256-GCM, and offers a two-line embed script that renders a dark-mode widget with visitor-ID tracking, exportable chat logs, and citation-backed answers. Installation involves cloning the repository, configuring a .env file, installing npm (and optional Python crawler dependencies), then running the development or production build.
