Show HN: We chased a weather balloon across Montana and never found it

The UpLink balloon payload, weighing 491 g, was launched in April to test 3D-printed filament insulation and to transmit 320×240-pixel images via radio, improving on last year’s 18×10 resolution. The project’s custom KiCad electronics, firmware, and launch logistics are documented, with all designs and received data released as open-source hardware on GitHub. A gallery of the transmitted images is available online.
