Silver Lake is merging Cegid and Silae into a €10bn French software group

Silver Lake will merge its French software firms Cegid and Silae, creating a group valued at over €10 billion in enterprise value while retaining majority ownership. The combined entity will integrate Cegid’s cloud accounting, tax, treasury and retail solutions with Silae’s payroll and HR platform, serving 2 million end-customers and generating more than 13 million payslips monthly across Europe. Christian Pedersen, former chief innovation officer at IFS, will lead the merged group as chief executive.
