Siri AI is here as Apple releases iOS 27, macOS Golden Gate and other major OS updates

Apple has released public versions of iOS 27, macOS 27 (Golden Gate), iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27, introducing a revamped Siri AI that accesses personal data and on-screen context. Siri AI is initially available only on English-language devices that support Apple Intelligence, such as iPhone 15 Pro/Max, iPhone 16, iPad mini (A17 Pro), MacBook Neo (A18 Pro), and Apple Vision Pro, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish support arriving next month. The updates also include a new Siri app, 30% faster app launches, AI photo editing, custom EQ for AirPods, a U.S. bill-splitting feature, expanded parental controls, and the ability to share a phone number across two iPhones.
