Smart Toilets Are Already Using AI to Analyze Your Poop

Kohler Health and Throne sell $399-$449 toilet-clip devices that record video of each bowel movement with downward-facing cameras and light sensors, then use AI to analyze stool and urine consistency, color, and hydration. Annual service fees range from $70 to $130, targeting healthy users and patients with inflammatory bowel disease, and both companies plan to add multispectral blood detection for colorectal-cancer screening within two years.
