Snap launches a planning tool for organising meet-ups with friends

Snapchat Plans, an invite-only feature for up to 200 participants, lets users create private gatherings, send invitations, track responses and commitments, and keep the entire process within the app. The tool was built after Snap found roughly one-third of young American users already arrange meet-ups via group chats. Its launch comes amid ongoing European Commission proceedings investigating Snap’s protection of minors and related regulatory scrutiny.
