A solar mobile clinic has successfully driven 800km across Kenya

Solar Team Eindhoven’s solar-powered mobile clinic, Stella Juva, traveled over 800 km across Kenya, operating an X-ray machine, ultrasound scanner and vaccine fridge simultaneously while generating more electricity than it consumed, even on a clinic without grid power. The 23-student-built vehicle demonstrated that solar energy can sustain off-grid medical equipment, but further deployment hinges on securing funding.
