Sony brings AI graphics upscaling to the regular PS5

Sony has added a new AI upscaling feature, Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), to the standard PS5. QSSR is a performance tier derived from Project Amethyst and AMD collaboration, but it runs slower than PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) on the PS5 Pro because the console lacks dedicated machine-learning hardware. Users can expect the PS5 to deliver upscaled 1440p output with QSSR.
