Sony brings AI upscaling to the base PS5

Sony has added AI upscaling to the base PS5, enabling Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR) in Marvel’s Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei. The new neural-network architecture improves pixel-level clarity and stability, and every PlayStation developer can now integrate QSSR into their titles. Ghost of Yōtei receives QSSR alongside a complete edition with a story expansion and roguelike mode, available for a $15 upgrade.
