Sony, Universal and Warner back a new pact against streaming fraud

The IFPI launched the Streaming Integrity Initiative on 14 September in London, urging music distributors to remove fraudulent tracks before they reach streaming platforms. Twenty-seven companies and industry groups support the initiative, including Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group, and Warner Music Group. The program aims to improve track authenticity and protect artists’ rights.
