Sony’s new party speakers have more bass, more LEDs, and more connectivity

Sony introduced three new tower-style speakers—ULT Tower Max, ULT Tower 7, and ULT Tower 5—as the largest models in its ULT Power Sound line, with the Tower Max weighing 121 lb and priced at $1,499.99. All three units add USB-C, RCA, and XLR inputs for wired connections and feature up to 100 LEDs that indicate battery status, Bluetooth pairing, and create music-synchronized light shows.
