Sony’s WH-1000XM5 headphones are back down to their lowest price

Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are now $198 at Amazon and Best Buy, down from $399.99 and about $250 in regular sales. The price matches the $50 discount offered during Prime Day 2026, available without a Prime subscription. Launched in 2022, the XM5 retains strong sound quality and active noise cancellation. The 2025 XM6 offers modest improvements and a folding design. Sony may re-introduce the 2020 XM4 at a lower price, but it is unlikely to match the current XM5 discount.
