Sovereign Tech Agency invests €500k in Flatpak

The German Sovereign Tech Agency is allocating €508,640 through its Sovereign Tech Fund to a two-year effort, co-organized by Modal and supported by Para-Real Ltd., to enhance Flatpak’s sandboxing and security features. The project will add new audio, network and VPN portals, a spell-checking portal, and improve password-auto-fill capabilities, with work led by Sebastian, Adrian and a team of experienced contractors, running until the end of 2027.
