SpaceX is adding a natural-gas trader to create and lead a team that will handle both physical delivery and financial contracts for the fuel used in its Starship methane-LOX rockets and the gas-fired power plant powering its Texas semiconductor fab. The role, located at Cape Canaveral or Starbase, reflects SpaceX’s broader push to vertically integrate fuel sourcing, including building pipelines and exploring direct gas drilling.
