SpaceX targets September 28 for Starship's first orbital flight

SpaceX plans to launch Starship Flight 14 on September 28, targeting a 75-minute window beginning at 8:15 AM Eastern Time, pending regulatory approval. The 10-hour mission will carry 26 Starlink V3 satellites, each capable of 1 Tbps downlink and 160 Gbps uplink, and will orbit Earth six times before the upper stage re-enters over the Pacific. The Super Heavy booster will splash down in the Gulf of Mexico shortly after liftoff.
