SpaceXAI apologizes for outage that affected Grok and other 'compute partners'

SpaceXAI’s Memphis compute center suffered an outage that disabled Grok on X, Android and iOS for three and a half hours starting at 6:30 a.m. PT, prompting the company to apologize to Grok users and unnamed “compute partners.” The same timeframe saw Anthropic’s Claude models and OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Codex experience elevated errors, though neither firm confirmed a link to SpaceXAI’s incident.
