Stoke Space raises another billion to rival SpaceX at re-flying rockets

Stoke Space Technologies completed a $1 billion Series E financing, bringing its total funding to $2.3 billion, to build infrastructure, increase production cadence, and develop a second-generation fully reusable launch system. The company’s Nova Pathfinder, using active liquid-hydrogen cooling for its heat shield, aims for an early 2027 orbital flight carrying three metric tons, while a larger Nova Block 2, capable of 15 metric tons to low-Earth orbit, is slated for 2029.
