Suno launches AI music models trained on licensed Warner and BMG catalogue

Suno launched three v6 AI music models: v6 and v6-wild for Pro/Premier users, and v6-mini for all users. The models enable partial song editing, mashups, audio isolation, sampling, and multimodal prompts, and will replace all previous models. The rollout satisfies a Warner Music Group settlement that required Suno to retire unlicensed models and create new ones co-developed with Warner, BMG, and Believe. Artists partnered with Believe can opt into the new system and may receive payments. Free-tier songs remain streamable but cannot be downloaded, while paid users face download limits.
