Support networks aim to help kids through the polycrisis

Force of Nature, a UK-based online support network launched in 2021, connects thousands of youths worldwide to transform climate-related anxiety into collective action amid a broader “polycrisis” of pandemics, conflict, cost-of-living pressures and geopolitical instability. Researchers note the program’s rapid growth but stress that rigorous evaluation is needed to determine its effectiveness for reducing the heightened depression and anxiety observed in today’s younger generations.
