T. rex teeth indicate it ran as warm as an elephant

Researchers Randon J. Flores and Robert A. Eagle of UCLA measured a T. rex tooth and found a body temperature of about 36 °C, comparable to a modern elephant. This dental thermometry provides direct evidence that the dinosaur maintained a warm, steady internal temperature. The finding supports the view that many dinosaurs were endothermic rather than ectothermic.
