Taiwan reportedly indicted NVIDIA employees for exporting prohibited AI servers to China

Taiwan prosecutors have indicted nine individuals, including employees of NVIDIA and Super Micro, for illegally exporting high-end AI servers to China despite strict export controls. The defendants allegedly colluded for large profits, causing corporate compliance costs and harming Taiwan’s international image, with shipments valued at up to $1 billion routed through Southeast Asian countries.
