Anthropic released a threat-intelligence report detailing how it intercepted multiple attempts to misuse its Claude models for cyberattacks, influence campaigns, surveillance, biological-weapon research, scams, illicit distillation and other malicious activities. The company said it shut down several projects after being unable to verify whether the research was legitimate or hostile, preventing potential exploitation of its AI.
