Tesla's second-gen Roadster is finally getting a debut nearly a decade later

Tesla will debut its second-generation all-electric Roadster on October 10. The hypercar promises 0-60 mph acceleration in under two seconds, a top speed above 250 mph, and a range exceeding 600 miles. Prices were announced at $200 k for the base model and $250 k for the Founder’s Edition, and early reservers such as Sam Altman and Marques Brownlee have withdrawn their $50 k deposits.
