Thanks to Siri Recaps, your Apple Watch is always listening

Siri Recaps, available on Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, uses on-device AI to analyze ambient audio and produce daily event summaries without recording or storing sound. The companion Live Rewind feature shows a transcript of the previous 15 seconds on the watch face, independent of wake-word activation. Both rely on Private Cloud Compute to keep audio off permanent storage and maintain privacy.
