There are new shiny iPhones, so Apple is making you pay more for older models

Apple increased its current iPhone lineup by $100, setting base prices at $799 for the iPhone 16, $699 for the iPhone 17e, $899 for the iPhone 17, and $1,099 for the iPhone Air, with India’s prices rising about 20.5%. It discontinued the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, citing higher memory and storage chip costs and the need to remain competitive with premium rivals such as Samsung and Google.
