These camera apps give you more control over the iPhone 18 Pro’s aperture

The iPhone 18 Pro’s variable-aperture camera is restricted to four manual settings—f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4—in the native iOS camera app, even in Auto aperture mode. Apple’s SDK permits third-party apps to expose finer aperture control. BlackMagic Design’s free BlackMagic Camera app was the first to implement this expanded functionality.
