These Cyborg Cockroaches Could Save Your Life

University of Queensland and UNSW researchers created “Paraborg,” a giant Queensland cockroach fitted with electrodes, a camera or a spring-driven injector that can be remotely steered via antenna and cerci stimulation. The injector delivers medication with a 95% success rate within 150 mm, achieving a 72% overall task completion rate in controlled trials.
