These small changes can improve your home surround sound in a big way

Adjust speaker angles, move the couch, and add rugs to improve home theater sound without new equipment. Place front left/right speakers about a foot from side walls, keep equal spacing to seating, and angle them toward the main seat. Position the center channel at the screen midpoint and align rear speakers for 5.1 or 7.1 setups. Test subwoofers in multiple spots, avoiding boxed or glued ported units, to find optimal bass response.
