Things I learned about the rumored HomePod display from macOS beta code

Apple’s macOS 26.7 beta references a new “HomeAccessory” device that appears to be a HomePod with a screen, running a tvOS-based OS and showing customizable “Faces” similar to Apple Watch faces, including widgets, Smart Stacks, and iPhone-linked privacy controls. The code also mentions a wall-mountable version, a forthcoming HomePod mini (codenamed B525) with minor updates, and a tabletop robot (codenamed J595) slated for a post-2027 release.
