This founder is teaching chips how to recycle (their energy)
Hannah Earley, CTO of Vaire Computing, has built a patent-pending resonator that lets a chip retain and reuse heat energy through reversible computing, achieving a net-positive energy recovery after accounting for its own power draw. The company, founded in 2021, has raised over $12 million and demonstrated a working chip, though experts say further realistic demonstrations are needed before commercial adoption.
