This is the best setting and placement for your Dolby Atmos soundbar

Connect the source (Netflix, HBO Max, Blu-ray, Xbox One, etc.) to the soundbar via eARC and set the TV’s audio output to Bitstream so the bar decodes Dolby Atmos. Position the bar slightly in front of the TV, no higher than halfway up the wall, with an unobstructed path to a flat ceiling for upward-firing drivers, keeping it parallel to the listening position. For side-firing models, maintain clear side reflections and remove furniture or absorptive materials that block the sound.
