This is what a supercar was like a century ago

Bentley produced 18 Super Sports models from 1925-1927 by shortening the standard 3-litre chassis wheelbase by 9.5 inches (241 mm) and fitting a tuned 3.0 L engine with new pistons, lighter flywheel, higher compression and different carburetors, enabling speeds over 100 mph (160 km/h). The cars featured a tapered radiator, compact two-seat coach-built bodies and an external three-speed lever, making them the lightest and most driver-focused Bentleys in its 85-year history.
