Threads is testing a podcast transcription feature

Meta is testing an automatic transcription feature for podcast clips on Threads, allowing users to read content while scrolling with sound off. Platform head Connor Hayes said the tool is part of a broader set of podcast-sharing utilities in development, as the service recently hit 500 million monthly active users.
