TikTok explores peer-to-peer payments via DMs, report says

TikTok is prototyping a peer-to-peer payment feature embedded in its U.S. iPhone app, using the existing TikTok Pay infrastructure that currently supports TikTok Shop purchases in Southeast Asia.
